This one-hour portrait experience was created for women who are ready to stop waiting for the “right” reason or the "right" time. With two thoughtfully designed studio sets, guided posing, and a relaxed atmosphere, this session is your invitation to step in front of the camera exactly as you are today and walk away feeling seen, confident, and a little more connected to the woman who has been there all along.

Permission was created for the women who have spent years putting themselves last. The women who have always admired photos like these but quietly thought, “Maybe someday.” Maybe when they lose the weight. Maybe when they have a reason. Maybe when they feel more confident, more ready, more like the version of themselves they think they need to become first.
This is your permission.
You do not need a milestone, an anniversary, a birthday, or a reason to step in front of the camera. Wear the dress you have been saving. Bring the jeans that make you feel like you. Pack the lingerie that has been sitting in the back of your drawer. Or show up in an oversized sweater and bare feet.
This experience is not about becoming someone new. It is about giving yourself permission to exist in the frame exactly as you are today.
What's Included?
Your Permission experience includes a one-hour portrait session inside The Void’s Vintage Studio, with up to two outfit changes and two thoughtfully designed editorial-style studio sets created to keep the focus where it belongs: on you.
You will be guided through posing from start to finish, so you do not need any modeling experience or know what to do in front of the camera. After your session, you will receive 20–30 edited and retouched high-resolution digital images delivered through a professional, private online gallery.
Set 1: The Woman Within
A vintage fainting sofa, ornate gold frames, carved wood, soft candlelight, and layered greenery come together to create a set that feels luxurious, intimate, and timeless. It is elegant without feeling untouchable, giving you a space to feel beautiful, grounded, and fully seen.
Set 2: A New Reflection
A Victorian velvet chair, layered greenery, ornate candle holders, and an oversized mirror come together to create a set that feels warm, romantic, and quietly dramatic. It is rich without feeling overdone, giving you a space that feels intimate, feminine, and beautifully worth stepping into.

A.J. and Shaina Hartless
Hartless Creative
A.J. and Shaina are the co-owners of Hartless Creative, a husband and wife photography team known for creating bold portrait experiences rooted in confidence and personal expression. Shaina leads the creative direction through set design, wardrobe guidance, styling, and theming, while A.J. handles the photography, editing, and retouching. Together, they create a comfortable, welcoming environment where clients feel supported, encouraged, and excited throughout the session, whether they are experienced models or rarely on the other side of the lens. Their favorite part of the job is helping clients see themselves in a new light, confident, beautiful, and exactly as they deserve to be seen.
