Every corner will hold something to discover, something to linger over, something that feels like stepping into a story instead of just stopping by a market.

Meet the Authors
The Reading Room: Lover’s Edition will also feature a select group of authors whose work aligns seamlessly with the heart of the market. With two authors specializing in romance and fantasy, and one author rooted in paranormal fantasy, their stories explore love, magic, mystery, and worlds that blur the line between reality and imagination.
Jessica Phylicia Jackson
Jessica Phylicia Jackson is an author and artist from Virginia Beach whose creativity thrives in the space between dreams and nightmares. When she isn't daydreaming, or writing, she spends her time reading, hanging out with her husband and two children, or playing video games.

L.C. Petra
L.C. Petra believes that stories have the power to shape the world, to breathe life into our vivid imaginations and capture our innate humanity. Her love of literature began when she was a child, like so many of us, and led her to attend the University of Rhode Island, where she studied English Literature and Art History. A self-proclaimed witchy wife, she lives with her family and cats in coastal Virginia.​
